Boston has enjoyed hundreds of award-winning theatrical productions. Over the last several years, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Dreamgirls, and The Color Purple have been performed. Festivals

The Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival has become Boston’s most popular music festivals. On the last Saturday in September, thousands of people descend upon Boston’s historic South End to hear world class music on three stages and enjoy food, arts and crafts and information at more than 70 vendor stations that span over six blocks. This year’s Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival will be held on September 29, 2012.

One of Boston’s best known eating establishments is Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen. Located in Boston’s South End, Darryl’s serves up great Southern and comfort food, signature cocktails and music by the best names on the local jazz scene from Tuesday through Saturday. Special Events

Steppin’ Out for The Dimock Center and the Ebony Winter Gala are two of the biggest annual events held in Boston. Steppin’ Out raises money for The Dimock Center’s programs and services and will hold its 25th anniversary celebration in 2012. The Ebony Winter Gala brings together Boston’s urban professionals on the second Friday of December. The event features multiple rooms of music, food and networking.
